SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it's alarmed in regards to the large number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The services place produced for intervention activities a high influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it difficult to the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to allow the servicing of all shoppers and increase entry to Social Assistance products and click here services,” the agency said.
